If you’re an out-of-state medical or chiropractic professional, Illinois law may allow you to teach, train, or demonstrate clinical skills without a full Illinois license through a Visiting Permit under the Medical Practice Act of 1987.

The following Visiting Permits require fingerprinting and background checks: (and that’s where we can help!)

  • Visiting Professor Permit (includes Chiropractors)
  • Visiting Physician Permit
  • Visiting Resident Permit

Per the IDFPR, fingerprints must be taken no more than 60 days prior to submission of your application. For more information on these Visiting Permits, click here!
